Józsefváros Youth Council application form

Hi!

We’re very happy that you’ve decided to take part in the first year of the Józsefváros Youth Council!

Please fill out the application form below and tell us why it is important to you to share your opinion about the district and to represent your peers on the council.

The goal is to give you a voice in decisions that affect you.

Who can participate in the Józsefváros Youth Council?

If you are already 14 but not yet 20 years old, and you either live in Józsefváros or go to school here, you are welcome to apply!

What does a year in the council look like?

The council will meet seven times during the 2025/26 school year. Meetings will be held either at the Józsefváros Mayor’s Office (Baross utca 63-67) or in other community spaces of the local government (like Kesztyűgyár or H13).

Here are the planned dates of the council meetings (subject to change):

  • Tuesday, November 25 – 9:00–11:30

  • Saturday, December 13 – 10:00–15:00

  • Wednesday, January 28 – 14:00–16:30

  • Wednesday, February 18 – 14:00–16:30

  • Saturday, March 24 – 10:00–15:00

  • Thursday, April 23 – 14:00–16:30

  • Saturday, May 22 – 11:00–16:00

If meetings take place during school hours, council members will be excused from classes.

Who is going to be your "supporting adult"?

In order to participate in the process, you need a supporting adult who helps you stay informed about what’s coming next. Someone who can accompany you to events and prepare you if needed. This can be one of your parents or a teacher.
